Mike Valley: Owner and Operator of Elite Goalies, Master Instructor
Mike currently serves as the goaltending coach for the Dallas Stars (NHL). During the 2008/2009 season he served as a goaltending coach within the Nashville Predators organization as well as for the Wisconsin Badgers (NCAA) during the 2008/2009 season.
Mike Valley has successfully developed and work with goaltenders at all ages. He works with high dozens of goalies currently playing in the NHL, AHL, ECHL, NCAA, US National Program.
As a goaltender Mike played his Junior A hockey for the Chilliwack Chiefs in the BCHL. He then spent two seasons at the University of Wisconsin before signing a free-agent contract with the Vancouver Canucks. Mike enjoyed the hands-on benefits of working with some of the top goalie coaches in the game during his six years of pro hockey. His playing days were split between the NHL, AHL, ECHL, and the Swedish Elite League.
Brian Elliott: Master Instructor, Elite Goalies Wisconsin
Brian Elliott has been teaching goalies for the past six years. Brian’s approach to playing goal and the passion that he brings to the rink has made him one of the finest young goalies in the game.
Brian is currently playing for the Ottawa Senators as is considered as one of the top young goalies in the NHL.

Justin Goldman is the founder of The Hockey Guild, a promotions and events company based in Denver, Colorado. He is a color analyst and hosts a weekly show dedicated to the Colorado Avalanche on the team's official radio flagship station and is also the founder of The Goalie Guild, which covers goaltending from a fantasy perspective. Justin is a scout for McKeen's Hockey and has been the top fantasy goalie analyst for Dobber Hockey for three years. He provides insight and analysis on all NHL goalies, as well as hundreds of prospects throughout Europe and North America. Shane Connelly: Master Instructor Elite Goalies Wisconsin
Helped US U-17 select team to gold at 2003 five nations tournament in Slovakia. Was fifth in league with .917 save percentage in 03-04 with Chicago Steel (USHL), and first in league in playoffs with .952 save percentage. Went 4-1-2 with a 1.11 goals-against-average as a sophomore backing up Hobey finalist Brian Elliott. Stopped 43 shots for shutout on 11/9/07 against North Dakota. Had five career shutouts. 2008 Winter Carnival MVP. Named to All-WCHA Academic Team and Academic All-Big Ten Team. Shane currently plays with the South Carolina Stingrays in the ECHL.
Mike Lane: Master Instructor and Director of Elite Goalies Wisconsin
Mike Lane has been training goaltenders ranging from squirt to college for the past 16 years. Mike is the head goaltending instructor for the Milwaukee Junior Admirals and works as the head goaltending instructor for WAHA (Wisconsin Amateur Hockey Association).
Pasco Valana: Master Instructor and Director of Elite Goalies British Columbia
Professional Goaltending Coach for the past 12 seasons. Originally founded Proformance Goalie Schools Inc in 1995. Sold PFGS in 2004 and began Elite Sports Management, a company dedicated to mentoring High Performance Goaltenders from minor hockey through to the CJHL, CHL, NCAA and NHL. Over the past 10 years Pasco has developed 41 goaltenders to Scholarships and 10 to the NHL draft. Pasco also maintains a position as Chief of Athlete Services for the Sport of Hockey at the 2010 Olympic Games.
Dusty Imoo - Master Instructor, Elite Goalies British Columbia
Originally from Surrey, British Columbia, Dusty Imoo played his first year of junior A hockey at the age of 14. He went on to play two years of Junior A and then four years of Major Junior hockey. After three NHL camps and three pro teams in the minors, Dusty was approached by Dave King to go over to Japan and play for him in the Nagano 98 Olympics. He played for twelve years in Japan, including five A Pool World Championships with the national team. After 15 years, Dusty retired from professional hockey in 2006, deciding to move back to Canada and focus on his family. He now resides in White Rock, BC.
Andrew Hammond - Elite Goalies Instructor - British Columbia
Andrew Hammond 21 from Vancouver British Columbia is coming off of the winningest season of his life, leading the Vernon Vipers of the BCHL to a record breaking 5th Royal Bank Cup National Championship! Andrew finished the season with 9 shutouts and a .941 save % and a shut out in the championship game. Andrew accepted a full ride scholarship from the Bowling Green Falcons Div 1 NCAA and is the starting goaltender this year. Andrew is a tremendous student of the game, with immense emotional control and positioning. He is a long time client of Pasco Valana and is welcome addition to the Elite Goalies Staff.
