15 Hours of On-Ice Instruction focused on Techniques, Strategies, and Philosophy

At the Elite Goalies Prospects Camp you will work extremely hard and see lots of shots using highly advanced drills! We will focus on three main areas of goaltending: Technique, Strategy, and Philosophy.


1. Techniques

• Techniques are the conglomeration of different types of saves and movements. We work with the strengths and weaknesses of each goaltender and introduce and incorporate the most progressive approaches to playing goal.

• Strategy describes the overall concept of how the set of techniques of playing goal are applied to ones’ game (save selection). Basically, the strategy prepares the goaltender to respond in certain ways with a given set of techniques to various situations. It is concerned with elements of how Techniques are constructed or applied.

• Philosophies aim to build the values of positive attitude, work ethic, respect, character and discipline. These core values are essential to becoming an Elite Goalie!
