Elite Goalies

Dear Parents & Players:

Hello, my name is Steve Shields. I have been an NHL professional hockey goalie since 1995 and prior a college and junior goalie in the US &  Canada. Two of our iCoach.com partners, Mike Valley and Pasco Valana, have selected you to be the first to use a new web-based goalie software tool for free!  Both during and after my playing career, I was exposed to some of the best software available to improve my technique and to help my students improve. Out of my usage of these tools, I created a way for you to shoot digital video of yourself, upload it, share it with your coaches, parents and other players, and remotely playback, discuss and mark-up the videos for your improvement. The service is now in its beta phase and is located at www.icoach.com   

Once you record your videos and upload them to iCoach.com, you can:

• Use the same tools the pros use to improve your technique & compare yourself to top professional goalies
• Share you videos, or any other videos, with your coaches, teammates and friends and interactively watch and discuss them simultaneously from remote locations over the Internet
• Have a lesson with your coach to go over multiple videos from recent practices, games or even from this camp!
• Setup your profile, chat with friends, coaches or teammates, 

iCoach.com is also a place for you and other athletes to meet where you can set up your profile, share and watch videos, chat and, most importantly, you can get the help of any coach you wish, or you may simply use iCoach.com for free to watch yourself in action and compare yourself to any other goalie. Since the site is in the beta phase, your participation is the key to molding this service around the needs of athletes like you!

If you wish to participate in our beta launch, please do the following:

1. View our video demo at www.icoach.com  to see how easy and fun becoming a better player can be while staying in touch with your remote friends and coaches (if you like)
2. After watching the video, if you decide to participate, you can simply follow the "Sign Up" steps on www.icoach.com 
3. Join the iCoach forum through the website or at www.icoach.com/forum 
4. If you have any questions, please send ANY question you have to feedback@icoach.com, and we will personally respond to you and/or your parents to help you utilize this new tool to help you take your game to the next level! 
5. We are letting you know this service a few weeks in advance to give you time to get some video clips of yourself recorded, so you can hit the ground running and start having a great time improving your game.
